Sorry, guys, it's another 'birthday' related post. Hang in there, there is an end. Ha!

So, last year, I bought a clearance t-shirt for my daughter in a size bigger to fit this year. A two dollar shirt, I didn't care if she wore it only a handful of times. This year came around and I decided it work great for her 'birthday' shirt. All I had to do was cover up the hearts.
I pieced together some fabric scraps to create my cupcake, used a thermo web to press it on over the hearts, and for the first time ever, attempted a button-hole stitch around it. It's not perfect. But it worked out better than I expected. And I'm feeling better about it to try again on something else. Yay!
You can still see the hearts if you look closely. So don't. Only kidding. I don't think anyone will notice.

Another thing checked off the ol' birthday list.
Have a good one!!
