HERE IT IS PEOPLE!!!
The party that has been taking up my time for the past month (or 6). My daughter's Pinkalicious
party. I can't even believe she's 4 (or will be in 2 days). Gah!!! She's grown up ridiculously fast.
Anyways. So just to warn you.. this is a LONG post. Picture heavy. Yep, all that. So grab a snack..
It all started here. Well, not really, it's just where I'M going to start. The invitation. Designed by yours truly.
It all started here. Well, not really, it's just where I'M going to start. The invitation. Designed by yours truly.
The ALL pink dessert table. I wanted everything about the party to remind you of Pinkalicious
and the fabulous books. I pretty much stuck with the original book, but added a few details from Pinkalicious and the Pink Drink
. If you're at all a Pinkalicious fan, I'm sure you'll recognize them.
The water bottles (and a some of the dessert table, bubbles, etc.) were adorned with the pinkerific free printables that Kim from Seven Thirty Three provides here. What a saver that was!
The lemonade stand (made by my hubby), which was used at a recent garage sale for my daughter to sell lemonade and goodies, is a detail from 'The Pink Drink
The doilies decorated different areas of the party. This was a given. You only have to open up the book to come across the cutesy doily pattern.
Pinkalicious' star wands for the girls and a few blue ones for the boys.
A felt Pinkalicious crown for the birthday girl.
The treat bag's goodies: A pink flower clip, crown shaped soap, pencil with a pinkalicious cupcake eraser and a cupcake shaped chalkboard. The favor bag tutorial is here.
Homemade bubble jars for the kids. Made with my stash of baby food jars and pipe cleaners for the bubble wands.
My beloved fabric pom poms. I don't know why I love these things so much, it must be the look of the delicate ruffles the fabric makes. I also hung my daughter's pink curtains in my kitchen to give the room a 'pink' feel.
The napkin pom pom garland. Made in this post and tied onto strips of tulle.
The dessert table consisted of lollipops, star wand sugar cookies, pink candy coated pretzels, pinkalicious cupcake marshmallow pops, cotton candy jelly beans, sour strawberry candy sticks, pink candy corn, sour cream soda candy, watermelon, strawberries, pink lemonade and, of course, Pinkalicious cupcakes (which were raspberry lemonade with lemon buttercream frosting).

The backdrop was inspired by the ones in the original book. When Pinkalicious

Remember these pink cups? Told you they'd make an appearance.
This little baby was used for our 'pin the cupcake on Pinkalicious' game.

The birthday girl and her brother's in their pink shirts. In case you're wondering, the boys shirts say 'Real Men Wear Pink' (this is a saying used to sell breast cancer shirts for men, just in case you're wondering. I did not make it up on my own.) And my daughter's shirt was in this post.

The bubble blowing. Definitely a hit. And Pinkalicious is a bubble blower in 'The Pink Drink
The finale of the party. My birthday girl blowing out her candle. She was pretty excited for that part.
Thanks for sticking through it!! I really hope you enjoyed her Pinkalicious
party. It was SUCH a blast to plan and put together, especially when you have an equally excited little girl to share it with. She really helped me create everything the way she wanted. What a creative little 4 year old.
By the way, be sure to come back soon to see the tutorials for some of the projects included in the party.
Hope you are inspired!

A-Mazing!
I can well believe that you were planning and preparing for this party for six months.
Every detail is beautiful.
I gasped out loud a couple of times.
I am so impressed, and you know what i LOVE about this best of all?
It still has that genuine "home-made" feel. Amazing but do-able. Well done - and now I'll bet you'll be recovering from that one for the next six months - til its time to do it all again
xx
@Simoney Aww, thanks! You really are so sweet! I had fun planning it and we found it was pretty easy to put it all together, better than I thought!! Again, thank you!!
I found your party from the Sweet Table Contest. Im the German judge. Your party looks GORGEOUS! GREAT JOB!
This is gorgeous! Truly! My daughter has been asking for a Pinkalicious birthday party and I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out all the details. You've inspired me! I'd love to know where you got some of your supplies (umm...pretty much everything on the dessert table ;) ). It looks like the party was a hit! Thanks and Happy New Year!
@Mama Wright Thank you so much!! I'm flattered!
@annie Thanks so much!! I made a lot of the items on the dessert table. What would you like to know? If you have any questions, let me know: vixenmade at gmail dot com
Oh my goodness so many wonderful ideas for my daughters party. Thank you so much for sharing! How did you make the birthday crown, my daughter was asking for one and this would be perfect :)
Thank you, Michelle! I used a stiff felt and glued two layers of it to make sure it would keep shape. I sewed elastic on the back to attach the two ends of the felt crown together and glued on the gems. Hope that helps!!
I am really quite speechless...what a fabulous pink party..WOW!
Omg...I'm so addicted to your blog! But I absolutely love this post! My daughter is turning 1 in June, and I want to do this party idea for her! Wow, thank you so much for sharing this post!
Thank you!! I'm so flattered!

Hello! I really love this post.My daughter wanted to have a pinkalicious party for her 6th birthday this november...since last month I've been searching for Pinkalicious Party theme and I find this post very helpful.
Mommy Venice
@Mommy Venice I'm so glad this was helpful to you!! Good luck with everything!
Hi there,
I stumbled upon your blog, and found it amusing. Am planning the birthday for my daughter. May I know for the water bottle label, what font did you use for the word happy birthday? It's cute!..It be great if you could share.
@Deby Suwito I actually never designed them. The link is shown above, but this is where I found the printables: http://www.733blog.com/2011/04/pinkalicious-birthday-invites-and.html
The best guess though would be Wendy Medium. Hope that helps!!
Cutest party EVER EVER EVER!!!!!
