My Glittery Pumpkins

Glitter really does make everything better, doesn't it?

I picked up some dollar store pumpkins the other day that needed a makeover.  A bit of a tacky and odd paint job on them as is.

I'm really digging the glittered pumpkin look and wanted some of my own.  But being the cheapskate that I am, I figured I'd attempt to make my own.  I went on a search for that incredible new product Krylon Glitter Blast.  I came up no luck... and then I remembered, oh right, I live in Canada.  HA!  We never get the good stuff.  Maybe one day, fingers crossed.

Sooo.. I found this stuff instead.

It's not as lovely as the Glitter Blast, but it'll have to do.

First I sprayed them down with my silver paint.

Then sprayed a coat of glitter spray.  I probably could've done another coat, maybe it would be even MORE glittery.  But I'm happy with them.

Here's a closeup on that glitter!

I'm happy with them.  But if I ever come across that new glitter spray, these will be getting another makeover.
