So I'm often at the dollar stores. Though I watch myself there, because there's many times I find things for less elsewhere. Guess it doesn't help our 'dollar' store upped a bunch of their goodies to 'two dollars'. Boo.
Ah well. Anyways, today, I figured I'd show you one of my fun projects that cost me almost nothing. It's festive, too!
Christmas-y reds and golds, oh my!

It started with this. A bowl (not sure if I remember where it even came from.. probably thrift store) that didn't seem worth keeping.
I primed...
And painted..
I'm in love with how rich and saturated this gold bowl is. Lovely.
Took out my stash of old fake flowers/greenery/glittery stems. Some are from the dollar store, some were from other things that I accumulated.
Arranged them in my bowl. Voila! New Christmas centerpiece!!
What do you think? Not bad for what I had on hand!
That's all for now!
Happy Thanksgiving to all you Americans!! Hope you're all having a wonderful time!

This centerpiece is stunning. Thanks for sharing and leaving me totally inspired!
Love it - just think of the possibilities! What primer did you use on the glass and how durable is it? -Jill
A great arrangment - my fave kind too - one with what you have! That bowl looks rich and luxurious!
@Denyse@Crazy Beautiful Life Thanks so much for the invite!
@Brandy J. Thanks, Brandy!
@Junky Vagabond Thanks! I used a basic primer spray by Krylon. It's definitely durable. It doesn't scratch off or wipe off! Great stuff!!
@Holly Lefevre Thanks, Holly!
