My New Accent Pillow

I love pillows!!  And there are a ton of beautiful and inspiring pillows out there.  But I never make any.  I don't know why.  They're easy to make (for the most part) and I have a bunch of fabric I want to use for pillows (not to mention a couple of pillow forms lying around from old pillows).

I'm crazy, I know it.
So, I decided I would try to make more.  (Don't be surprised if there's some pillow tutorials in the next few weeks) I'm tired of wanting to make them.. I'm gonna just do it.
And to start it off... I made one for my bed!

I've had this fabric forever because I was planning on doing some fabric covered canvases for my room, but decided against it (it just didn't look quite right).  What better way to use the fabric that I was going to use for my bedroom anyways, right?



I made it reversible.  I like to change my duvet cover to a lighter, brighter one for spring/summer, and the brown is a nicer contrast.

I also added a zipper on the side so I can change the pillow out when I get tired of the pillow!

 I love it.. and I'm excited to attempt more pillows for my home!
