Go through your old shirts and find the perfect color. In my case, orange. I have been trying to find some fun orange accessories (in my budget) and haven't had much luck. So this is perfect.

Let me show you how I did it. This project can literally take seconds, or a few minutes AND it can be a no-sew project or you can finish it off with some sewing. It's entirely up to you.
You'll need an old jersey knit shirt.
Take scissors (or my favorite, a rotary cutter, mat and ruler) and cut a straight line underneath the armpits of the shirt.
Now, you can literally just put it on and go (since it won't fray), or add another few steps.
Turn the fabric piece inside out and fold the raw over.
Add hem tape under the fold and press (using directions on package) with an iron. For a no-sew project, that's all there is to it!
But, since I have a sewing machine, I went the next step and sewed along the folded edge to create a hem.
There it is! Your new infinity scarf!
Try it on! And head out the door with your fabulous new accessory! You can even wrap it around again for a scarf that fits more snug around the neck.
Cute, right? I'm loving the orange!
Have fun making one!! See you tomorrow!

@Karena So glad you like it!! Thanks!
This totally inspired me. I cut up an old t-shirt that I used to wear in high school to make this. It had long sleeves so I braided them to add some pop. Speaking of pop, I love the orange color!!
@JellybeansMum I'm so glad you got to make one for yourself!! Thanks for sharing, have a fabulous evening!!
