Quick Kids Craft: Christmas Wreath

Time for a quick craft with the kiddos.
My daughter is probably just as excited for Christmas as I am.  So I figured a Christmas ornament would be fun to do.
I used a jumbo chenille pipe cleaner, glue (you can use white glue or hot glue gun, depends on the age of the child), scissors, scrap ribbon and sparkly pom poms.  You could also use beads, sequins, buttons, whatever you have on hand.  If you want to use it as an ornament, use floral tape to create a hook on the wreath, or tie a loop of fishing line onto the wreath.  (I couldn't for the life of me find either).

Take your pipe cleaner and create a circle and twist the end around to attach.  Then trim the excess with scissors (depends how big you want your wreath).

Tie a ribbon with the scrap ribbon and get your child to glue it on the top or bottom of the wreath.

Now you can decorate your wreath.  Glue on your pom poms (or other embellishments).

Done.  Attach a loop of fishing line, ribbon or string or use floral wire to create a hook and hang your ornament on a tree if you want!

My daughters wreath landed on her closet knob.  Now her closet can look festive!

Hope you're feeling festive, too!
Thanks for stopping by!!
