So I caved the other day and put up my Valentine decorations. I don`t have that much, so I didn`t really feel that bad.
It was so empty after all the Christmas stuff came down. It was a little sad.
And it got me in the mood to make some Valentine crafts.
And since I needed some new coasters...
And since I needed some new coasters...
Valentine coasters it is.
Here`s how to make some!
Get together your supplies: Heavy duty red vinyl tablecloth material (I got a bolt end piece from the fabric store awhile back.. it`s thicker and heavier than the cheap vinyl tablecloths)
Red felt
Glue gun
Heart stencil (I sketched mine out myself, but you could google it and print out a stencil, here`s one)
Trace your heart out on both the vinyl and the felt. I made 4 coasters, so do this 4 times.
Now cut them out.
And hot glue the two pieces together, it`s easiest if you glue one side of the heart at a time so you can place them together evenly.
Once you`re done, you may need to trim the pieces. Since the vinyl is the top of the coaster, trim the felt, not the vinyl.
This is the back of the coaster.
And that`s it! Gotta love a festive coaster!!
And it`s perfect size for my Grande Frappuccino... Yum! Works great!
I love how light and flexible they are. Not to mention, kid friendly!! Even they like using them.

HESTER’S LETTER
Hester’s letter, scarlet “A,”
Gave the gossips much to say,
But their rudeness she forbore,
For she knew she was no whore.
