So, on Friday, my husband finished off our new TV console table. And I LOVE it!
We found the plans on the Ana White website.
One of my most favorite websites to 'shop' at.
Ha!
I say shop because when I need a new piece of furniture, I can browse through the pages and pages of building plans. It's heaven!
Sadly, I have not become the talented one to build anything. Good thing I have a handy husband!
Anyways, the table was perfect for us. It fit all our DVD's and CD's (with a little room to grow), and I was even able to reuse my baskets (which I bought to go with another TV stand that broke shortly after)!
Isn't she lovely!?
Oh and don't worry. Those hideous cords are going in their hiding place ASAP! As well as more cute Easter decor!
My living room is so dark, so I opted for a pale yellow to help brighten things up.
And I wasn't too fond of the yellow color with a chrome handle. But we found these and I knew right away they were perfect. LOVE them.

You did a fabulous job.
Incredible! I love it.
Love me some Ana White! You should try starting with one of her really easy projects. Like the $10 Gallery Ledges. You'd be surprised how addicting it is!
Wowzers! I wish I was better with woodwork, because that is awesome!

Nice!! I love the light yellow you choose. I am doing a makeover in a guest room w/gray & yellow. I've been torn about the shade of yellow to use on a side table...I think the light might be best now that I've seen your table. Thank you for sharing at the Rock 'N Share!
Gorgeous. The End.

It looks great! You guys did a fabulous job.
Seeing the paint colour you choose makes me want repaint my living room furniture a lighter colour even more, but my husband has doubts. We have dark timber coloured furniture that was specially made for our first house to match the hard wood floors, now that we are in this house (and have been for almost 6 years) the darkness is just to much for our tiled living areas. I have been fighting a losing battle since we moved in. I think I might just strip on piece of furniture while he is at work one day and he won't have a chance to argue :)
I really like the color. It is so pretty. Nice job!
Gorgeous table!!! I'd LOVE to have this in my home! Great job.

The TV stand is awesome! I admire what you have lol. Great job to your husband.
THis is amazing!!! I've been nagging Mr. Woodsy to make us a custom tv console since our tv is so ginormous and DLP projection and not a flat screen. We currently have it sitting on a 2-foot tall $50 ikea console and our tv is wayyyyy too low to the ground. I really want him to make this (with some modifications) pronto. p.s. I'll be hearing Anna White speak at Haven in June! SO incredibly excited!!!
Looks fanTAStic! Great job! I'm thrilled that you linked it to last week's Shine on Fridays party!
