Where have I been?
Sorry, I've been a little MIA lately. It's been a crazy week and I haven't had much extra time for blogging, let alone crafting. What have I been up to?My husband's grandparent's 60th anniversay party was this weekend and I was asked to create some custom cake pops, pretzel rods and bookmarks. Which I'll post about tomorrow.
I was also asked to set up a dessert/candy table at an Anniversary party for the same day. It was such an honor! It was a Ruby Anniversary, which is the 40th year. That was the theme. That and the red, white and black colors. I love how dramatic the colors looked and enjoyed creating the table to request. So, today I'm sharing the shots I took of the table.
The customer created a cake that I added to the table. The colors and look coordinated perfectly, so I was happy to add it.
Upon request, I did a paper flower backdrop that really added to the bold, dramatic look.
She didn't want the table to be overwhelmed with candy, so I decided to add a few nutritious picks, like yogurt parfaits, fruit kebabs and popcorn.
It's always such a blast to set up a dessert table and plan a party, so I was definitely flattered that she asked me. Thanks again. I'm hoping everyone enjoyed themselves and the treats.
See you all tomorrow!
