Now that it's autumn, everyone is whipping up the pumpkin flavored everything.
And since I am loving it. I am with you all in the pumpkin-fest!!
I decided to create whoopie pies. 'Cuz you can have one cookie.. but it's like you're getting two. Ha!
I used this recipe for the cookie. And although the recipe isn't for whoopie pies, the texture is more cake like, so I figured it works. I just used the icing recipe to sandwich the cookies together. You have got to try these!
And oh, are they ever good! Of course, anything pumpkin (especially with frosting!) is good in my books. But still, it's the perfect way to welcome fall.
